Homemade Laundry Detergent Recipes

Powdered Laundry Detergent

1 Cup Grated Fels Naptha Soap (or Ivory Soap)
1/2 Cup Washing Soda
1/2 Cup Borax

For light load, use 1 tablespoon.
For heavy or heavily soiled load, use 2 tablespoons.

Household Laundry Detergent

1 ounce liquid castile soap
1 cup washing soda (available in the supermarket)
1 cup baking soda
1 cup white vinegar

Fill washer with water and add each ingredient in the order given. Launder as usual.
